The Huasco River and its shores - on the strech its flows through the city of Vallenar- was declared "Humedal Urbano". It features an ecosystem with a wide variety of flora and fauna, but's also a place of cultural, sporting, and recreational activity for the inhabitants of Vallenar. We cycle along the rivershore before entering the El Jílguero sector, which awaits us with truly surprising environments nestled among the desert hills.
