We start our tour in Alto del Carmen – the place where the fértil interior valleys of the Tránsito and the Carmen River meet and where the Huasco River starts its flow. We stroll around this small town before we pedal up the Carmen Valley until we reach the village La Vega. From here we return on a path along the Carmen River enjoying the contrast between the vegetation on the river shore, the surrounding hills and the deep blue sky. In summer season, if you like, you can take a bath in the river. Arriving to the sector of the statues in Alto del Carmen we take the way down valley passing mountains, sectors of grape cultivation as well as native vegetation. We also pass some small locations as El Algodón with its big old trees and El Sombrío until reaching the chape lof El Solar – place where the Santa Juana Reservoir begins when it is with its máximum capacity. Here our tour ends
