The Huasco Valley offers a wide range of artistic expressions that are based on the natural, historical and cultural characteristics of the environment.
During this tour you are introduced to the world of jewl smithing - a trade with the identity stamp of a valley, where artisanal mining and metallurgy are a fundamental part of local history..
En el retirado y minúsculo pueblito de Pinte ubicado en la pintoresca quebrada del mismo nombre la cual destaca por sus cerros multicolores, sus extrañas formaciones geológicas y su diversos vestigios paleontológicos, te conviertes en el/la creador/a de tu propia joya en cobre durante un taller con el Orfebre Diaguita Iván Torres. Además visitamos en este mágico lugar la pequeña sala museográfica, la idílica plaza y durante nuestra estadía tendrás la posibilidad de picotear y beber diversas delicias propias de este fértil Valle desértico.
As night falls over the valley, we focus our views on this Atacameño night sky widely recognized for its privileged atmospheric conditions. Outside the urban center of Vallenar you can enjoy a sky that impresses in plain sight. Assisted by a local astronomical entrepreneur with extensive knowledge, you will not only be able to observe the celestial bodies up close using professional equipment, but also learn about events in the cosmos and the link between astronomy and the local indigenous worldview.

Dep. Vallenar: November – April: 3 pm / May – October: 1 pm.. –Santa Juana reservoir (short stop) – Pinte ravine and village – El Transito – Alto del Carmen – Vallenar (end of the tour: 10.30 pm approx. Summer / 08.30 pm approx. Winter)
