El Valle del Huasco<\/strong>\u00a0tambi\u00e9n es conocido como el \u201cJard\u00edn de Atacama\u201d.<\/p>\n

Est\u00e1 ubicado en la parte sur de\u00a0la Regi\u00f3n de Atacama \u2013 Chile.<\/p>\n

Su capital Vallenar est\u00e1 a 145 km al sur de Copiap\u00f3 y a 196 km al norte de La Serena<\/p>\n

(y a 970 km aprox. al suroeste de San Pedro de Atacama – Regi\u00f3n de Antofagasta).\u00a0<\/p>\n

Inserto en el entorno des\u00e9rtico del rinc\u00f3n Sur del gran Desierto de Atacama -considerado el desierto (no polar) m\u00e1s \u00e1rido del mundo- \u00e9ste f\u00e9rtil valle tiene un clima privilegiado que permite turistear durante todo el a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n

Es un destino de turismo rural, de naturaleza, agroalimenticio y \u00faltimamente destaca cada vez m\u00e1s por el enoturismo.<\/p>\n

Tiene mucho encanto y entre cordillera y mar ofrece vivencias y experiencias para todos nuestros sentidos adem\u00e1s de mucha calidez humana.<\/p>\n

Gracias al R\u00edo Huasco y sus afluentes hay una larga tradici\u00f3n agr\u00edcola.<\/p>\n

Dentro del \u00e1rido entorno des\u00e9rtico se cultiva una impresionante variedad de deliciosos frutos y se producen reconocidos productos t\u00edpicos de los cuales tres cuentan con denominaci\u00f3n de origen como es el pisco, el \u201cpajarete\u201d el famoso aceite de oliva del Valle del Huasco.<\/p>\n

En la \u00e9poca m\u00e1s reciente se producen adem\u00e1s en la zona central del Valle deliciosos vinos los cuales en muy poco tiempo ganaron gran reconocimiento entre en\u00f3logos y premiaciones internacionales.<\/p>\n

La sorprendente diversidad de flora y fauna des\u00e9rtica destaca por su alto grado de endemismo que se muestra p.ej. en el Parque Nacional Llanos de Challe.<\/p>\n

Por otra parte la Reserva Nacional Ping\u00fcino de Humboldt y la reserva Marina Isla Cha\u00f1aral albergan una biodiversidad marina excepcional y sobre todo durante la \u00e9poca estival ah\u00ed se muestran variados cet\u00e1ceos incluyendo el animal m\u00e1s grande del planeta: la ballena azul.<\/p>\n

El paisaje natural provee asombrosas y variadas bellezas esc\u00e9nicas y cada cierto tiempo, cuando una serie de factores conjugan de manera precisa, el desierto florece y se convierte en un mar de colores, formas y fragancias donde la vida aparece en todas sus facetas.<\/p>\n

Y no nos olvidemos del espectacular cielo nocturno atacame\u00f1o, famoso por sus favorables condiciones atmosf\u00e9ricas para la observaci\u00f3n astron\u00f3mica.<\/p>\n
