Downhill Chollay - El TRánsito
In the small and distant town of Chollay in the Andean foothills of the Huasco Province we started our tour. On a mountain bike we walk along the edge of the Chollay River which, upon reaching the main valley, joins the Conay River to form the Tránsito River between them. We continue down the valley of the same name which is also known as "Valley of the Naturals" passing through different towns and landscapes.
You can appreciate the environment full of contrasts that offers this fertile valley that stretches through the desert environment of Atacama and know its hidden corners, its fruits and crafts that characterizes it.
The activity is adaptable with public transportation to/from Vallenar.

You should know
Tour includes: Spanish-speaking guide, introductory talk, mountain bike, equipment (helmet, pump, basic repair kit), snack, mineral water (1 ½ l), first aid kit, communication radio, GPS, etc.

Notes:
- Permited age range: 12 - 65 years
- Activity not suitable for pregnant women, people with limited mobility, people with respiratory or heart problems, people with knee problems.
- Any health restricction should be informed in advance
- Participants must know how to ride a bicycle and be able to follow the guide's instructions.
- Each participant must fill out a registration and risk acceptance form before the start of the activity
